Amy Southerland grew up in Central Texas with her various pets.  She attended Texas A&M University for a degree in Biomedical Science.  She graduated from Texas A&M Vet School in 2007.  She has worked in emergency medicine in the greater Houston area for the past 17 years.  Amy enjoys biking, beginner-level hiking, reading, and traveling to visit friends.
